The outstanding Slovenian pianist Aleksandra Pavlovič, well known to the audience in the Goriška region, is a sensitive, technically skilled artist who impresses with her dedication and artistic perfection as a soloist interpreter and music teacher. Her breadth of expression and respectable feeling for her stage partner also place her among sought-after and valued chamber musicians and accompanists. In addition to pianistic literature, her extensive repertoire includes most chamber works written for violin, cello and voice, and she regularly collaborates with renowned musicians.
 

This time she joined forces with the internationally renowned Slovak dancer and choreographer Milan Tomášik. Their concert performances are unique dialogues between two top (re)creators, aimed at disentangling the once closely intertwined music and dance. In their artistic co-creation, they look for subtle musical connections and create coexistences in which the music is transformed into the dancer’s movement and resonates with it, returning to music through kinetic poetics. We will experience how diversities can complement each other creatively in the February dance concert.
