The annual offer prepared by the Nova Gorica Culture Centre within the frame of the Music Youth Nova Gorica, Children’s art workshops and the School film programme, adds to culture education of our regular educational system. We are trying our hardest to prepare as many programmes for children and youth, hoping to encourage their curiosity, creative energy and desire to discover new things.

Children attend events in the morning hours with their nursery school group or school class. Through pedagogical programmes, adjusted to fit various target groups and ages, we aim to enrich the regular learning process and enable its expansion through games, creativity, creative thinking and active participation. Our guided viewings encourage their observation skills and help them learn how to form their own opinions on presented themes and provide them with a new experience of various artistic fields.

The high numbers of the performed programmes are witness to the exemplary cooperation of the Nova Gorica Culture Centre with neighbouring municipalities as well as the great affinity of the school principals and pedagogues, who help us carry out the valuable and demanding mission of educating youth on music, visual arts and film. We hope to continue with our rich cooperation in the future, thus we are always open to new suggestions.
