The Europe Film Week is organised by Europe Direct contact points in Slovenia and the Regional Development Agency of Northern Primorska in cooperation with local partners, Creative Europe, European Commission Representation in Slovenia and the European Parliament Office in Slovenia. Its aim is to present the diversity and richness of the European films to a wider audience. Nova Gorica has taken part in this initiative from the very beginning.

In 2022, we will have free screenings of selected European films, winners of the EU support fund to promote European film and audio-visual industry, some of which are LUX Award nominees. The award represents the European Parliament’s commitment to support cultural diversity, and to strengthen ties between European countries.
