Kontra-Alba is the music project of Vita Mavrič, dedicated to Jani Kovačič and their almost quarter-century musical development. He is a singer-songwriter with a raspy, cynical voice. She is a chanson singer with clear, emotional vocals. Jani and Vita Evening and Morning. Kontra-Alba.

In the eight selected poems, Jani’s world vision will be drawn before us: we will meet an insightful observer who remains a relentless critic of social delusions in all periods. On the one hand, the project brings an eternally topical criticism of the bizarreness of human society, which is characteristic of Kovačić’s lyrics, and on the other hand, music based on the popularity of European culture in the 1920s and 1930s. Vita Mavrič will take care of their excellent combination with convincing performances and thus once again send a multidimensional musical project into the world, which carries both the present and the past.
