Into the Winds is all about sound. A powerful, stunning, hypnotic and rare sound, conveyed by wind instruments with unique and colourful timbres from the Middle Ages and the Renaissance. The invigorating breath and vibrational energy they transmit are a source of journeys, bridges and transitions, inviting to an immersive and sensual experience in time and space.This group of young musicians was formed in 2017 in Tours, France, and quickly conquered the European early music scene. In 2019, they won the Utrecht Young Ensemble Competition and were accepted into the EEEMERGING+ programme run by REMA and the renowned Ambronay Festival and Centre in France. This year, their first CD was also released on Ricercar and immediately received a series of excellent reviews. This is the programme that they will present for the first time in our towns and cities, in a lively and energetic style, typical of their concerts.
