The virtuoso programme of the third Season Ticket concert finds its inspiration in a series of lesser known, but sound chamber compositions and a Slovenian composition, performed by the Hungarian clarinet player László Kuti, violinist Oksana Pečeny and Japanese pianist Akemi Murakami.

As a prodigy child Oksana Pečeny Dolenc started her music path at the special school for gifted children in her home town of Kyiv. Following the disintegration of the Soviet Union, when she was eight years old, her family moved to Maribor. She soon received the highest awards at state and international competitions and performed as a soloist with orchestras at home and abroad. As a soloist she performed with the Maribor Philharmonic, HRT Symphony Orchestra, RTV Slovenia Symphony Orchestra, The Symphony Orchestra of the Academy of Music in Ljubljana, the Solisti Piranesi Orchestra, The Lebanese Chambre Orchestra, The Romanian National Symphony Orchestra and the Slovene Philharmonic Orchestra on a number of occasions. She performed as the concert master in the international ensemble No Borders Orchestra, and as a chamber musician in the Astorpia Quintet. Since the 2013/14 season onwards, she is the concert master of the SNG Maribor Symphony Orchestra.

After starting his studies in Hungary, the clarinet player László Kuti enrolled into the Graz University of Music and Performing Arts in Austria. Following the completion of his studies he became the first clarinet in the newly established Hyogo Performing Arts Centre Orchestra in Japan. Since 2009 he is the first clarinet at the Munich Philharmonic and a regular guest of the Berlin Philharmonic, the German Symphony Orchestra Berlin, the State Chapel in Dresden and Camerate Salzburg. Alongside performing in orchestras and soloist performances he also works as a mentor for clarinet at the Orchestra Academy Osoje, which operates under the artistic management of the Vienna Philharmonic.
The pianist Akemi Murakami works as a soloist, piano accompanist and a chamber musician. Her concert path has led her to perform at numerous festivals and on prestigious European concert stages. She is one of the most sought-after piano accompanists for singers of her generation. Her work is documented in numerous recordings by important radio stations, such as Bavarian Radio and German Radio.
